  • For preparation, the surface for painting should be clean and devoid of dirt, grease, and surface plasticiser. To remove grime, grease, and oil from the surface, use a detergent (such as Dissol).
  • To dull the surface of a glossy surface, lightly rub it with a grey Scotch-Brite pad. Finally, use Vipond's Prep Vinyl or methylated spirits to clean.
  • TautFlex is a paint with a low viscosity that can be applied with a brush, roller or spray. Before using, thoroughly stir the paint.
  • The gloss-finish paint will be surface dry in 20 minutes under typical drying circumstances (above 15°C and low humidity) and can be recoated after one hour (min). To slow drying in extremely hot temperatures, use Vipond's water-based acrylic retarder.
